Detailed Position Description: The Department of English at the University of San Diego invites applications for a one-year, non-renewable visiting lecturer position in the Writing Program beginning in Fall 2018. The position includes a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunity to work with experienced colleagues and mentors. Job Requirements: The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to and evidence of teaching excellence and a dedication to creating an inclusive classroom, department, and campus community. This is a 4/4 teaching load.
The position requires a master’s degree in composition/rhetoric or related field. Candidates who hold a Ph.D. in composition/rhetoric may be given priority consideration.
