The Department of English at Salisbury University is accepting applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of English with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric. This is a one year assignment.
Primary Job Duties: Teaching Introductory and Advanced Composition with other possibilities in Writing for Digital Environments, Writing in the Disciplines, and/or Writing Across the Curriculum. 3-3 teaching load.
Minimum Qualifications: ABD in English. Candidates are expected to be able to use effective teaching and classroom management strategies which enhance the success of diverse learners.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D.
