Kent State University at Tuscarawas Campus is seeking two candidates for the Tenure Track positions to teach introductory writing courses and upper-level writing and literature courses. A tenure track appointment carries with it the expectations of teaching and excellence, professional development activities, research leading to publication, and campus and community service.

Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D in English. Experience in and strong commitment to undergraduate teaching concentration and/or experience in any of the following: writing studies, literacy studies, composition theory and pedagogy – with a concentration in upper division professional writing and editing courses. This individual will serve as writing program coordinator for the Tuscarawas Campus and work with the Kent writing program to ensure that writing courses at all levels fulfill established learning outcomes for students.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
