Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Framingham State University English Department invites applications for a one-semester full-time position to teach African-American literature and first-year writing during the spring 2019 semester.
The teaching load is three courses.
The candidate should provide evidence of excellence in teaching and professional growth.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- An M.A. in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicants with a Ph.D. in English.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, temporary, benefits-eligible position in the MSCA bargaining unit at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor depending on experience. Salary commensurate with experience in accordance with Appendix O of the Massachusetts State College Association (union) contract.
