The Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for a non-tenure-track position as Full-time Lecturer to teach professional and technical communication courses for engineering students and/or other undergraduate populations (e.g., scientific writing, business writing, legal writing, etc.). PhD in Professional, Technical, or Scientific Communication, Writing Studies, Rhetoric, English or related field strongly preferred, along with a strong record of training and experience in teaching college-level technical and/or professional communication courses. Duties include teaching six courses per academic year, or the equivalent thereof, which may include instructional responsibilities in the Writing Resource Center. Initial appointment is for one year beginning August 2018 and may be renewed for up to two additional one-year periods.
